Cocktail “Jaisalmer Royale”

  • 5 cl Jaisalmer gin

  • 1.5 cl ginger syrup

  • 2.5 cl fresh lemon juice

  • 1 dash Angostura

  • Top up with tonic or ginger soda

  • Ice + orange zest or mint leaf for garnish

Pour gin, syrup, and lemon juice into a shaker with ice, add the Angostura, shake briefly, strain into a highball glass filled with ice. Top up with tonic or ginger soda. Garnish with an orange twist or mint leaf.

Visually, a clear, crystalline spirit. On the nose, juniper emerges, accompanied by orange peel and lemon zest, underpinned by Darjeeling tea and delicate spice notes (cubeb, coriander). On the palate, it enters dry, lively, with an elegant structure: juniper, citrus, herbal tones and a subtle peppery twist. The finish is fresh, lightly camphoric, with lingering tea and citrus echoes.
