This Single Malt is made from whiskies distilled in 2013 and aged in barrels of Bourbon (85%) and Sherry Oloroso (15%). The whisky was bottled at 46.8 °, without cold filtration and coloring.
This 2019 edition expresses a great aromatic complexity through beautiful citrus notes accompanied by peat smoke and enhanced by rich notes of stone fruit and dark chocolate.

First distillery built on Islay, 125 years ago, Kilchoman has been built as a “farm-distillery” and grows its own barley.
About 100 tons are harvested and malted at the distillery, 30% of the distillery’s needs. The rest is supplied by the Port Ellen malt-house. It is also part of the 6 last distilleries operating with traditional malting processes. In 2009, Kilchoman crafted its first recognized Single Malt. Kilchoman is one of the smallest distilleries of Scotland with an annual production of about 100.000 liters.
