La Paimpolaise Monkfish Foie Gras & Smoked Bacon 80g
This monkfish spread is naturally rich in Omega 3. Monkfish lives on the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean, and feeds on starfish, seashells and small fish. Rather clumsy, this fish is oftened nicknamed "toad" or "sea devil". Nevertheless, monkfish is a delicious fish with wide liver, of delicate pinkish colour and close to foie gras in texture and aspect, also nicknamed the "foie gras of the sea".
This recipe reminds of sardines with a more iodized note to it. It may be served fresh on toasts, with lemon or sea salt.
