This Lallier champagne was made from 55% pinot noir grapes and 45% chardonnay grapes. It comes from a blend of wines from the year 2019 (88%) and reserve wines from 2008 and 2012, hence its name "R.019" which symbolizes the reflection around wines from a year of harvest. It captures the purest individuality of the Champagne terroir and interprets it each year in a renewed expression.

The year 2019 is qualified in Champagne as an exceptional year. The climate was very sunny and little rainy, allowing the vines to grow in ideal conditions. The grapes have a very good level of maturity and perfect quality.

The R series is the heart of the Lallier style, a perfect balance between its four signature emotions: freshness, purity, depth and intensity.

This champagne is perfect to enjoy as an aperitif or at the start of a meal, with raw vegetables, fresh goat's cheese, shellfish or raw fish.
