Ireland is known for its green hills and cascading rivers. Clontarf Irish Whiskey draws on this natural bounty and uses the finest Irish ingredients in the distillation process.

A blend of barley and corn and pure spring water imparts Clontarf with complex flavours and stunning taste.

Once the distillation is completed, the young Clontarf 1014 Classic Blend whiskey is left to mature in charred oak casks that previously contained bourbon for 4 years.

During the ageing, the whiskey takes on the characteristics of the cask in which it is contained and is infused with the flavours and colours of the wood.

The final stage before bottling is the blending. This process combines the flavours of various casks to produce a unique, complex blended whiskey of constant quality year after year.

The distillery takes its name from a famous battle that took place on the Clontarf fields near Dublin, on Good Friday, in spring 1014. Irish King Brian Boru and his men fought and drove the Vikings out of Ireland, laying the foundation of the Ireland we know today.

Ireland is known for its green hills and cascading creeks. Clontarf makes the most of this natural wealth and takes the finest ingredients Ireland has to offer for its distillation process. A perfect combination of barley, corn and pure source water makes Clontarf a quite aromatic whiskey with complex aromas and exceptional flavours.
