Andresen 10 Years Old White Port 75cl 20°
If white Ports are traditionally made from white grapes and then aged for 2 to 3 years in barrels or in vats before being bottled, this Andresen White Port has been matured for 10 long years in barrels, a real revolution for this type of Port.
This long ageing has earned it great aromatic richness, which manifests itself in a relatively fruity register. It is a well-balanced wine between freshness and maturity, with a finish of extraordinary length and complexity.

The company Andresen was founded in 1945 by a young Danish man, Joao Henrique Andresen, who arrived from Germany at the age of 14 and fell in love with Portugal and the Port wines. Porto, his first destination, was also the last one: he was first hired in a trading house where he shone by his honesty and his sense of business, then in 1845 created his own trading house, which bears his name since.
Joao Andresen's successors rely on his methods to make their wines, that is to say a demanding selection of grapes, an art of blending (whose secrecy is preserved) and optimal storage conditions.
All vintage Andresen Ports are made using the traditional method in lagares, large vats in which the grapes are crushed by foot.
