Little known in France and Europe, the Speyburn distillery, founded in 1897 in Rothes, Scotland, is nevertheless the first brand of whisky sold in Finland and one of the top ten in the United States.
The independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail unveils today a nugget from this mysterious distillery with a Single Cask Speyburn distilled in 1977. A whisky that has benefited from a complete maturation for 44 years in a refill Sherry cask, before being to be bottled in November 2021 as part of the G&M Private Collection.
Only 414 bottles are available for this exceptional whisky.
