Loch Lomond 12 Years Old Gift Pack 70cl 46° + Inchmoan 5cl + Inchmurrin 5cl
Ideal for Scottish whiskies lovers, this box is composed of:
- Single Malt Loch Lomond 12 years old 46° 70 cl: whisky aged 80% in second-fill Bourbon casks and 20% in re-burnt Bourbon casks, which gives it delicately fruity and very atypical aromas. Loch Lomond 12 years old has received international recognition, notably with its gold medal at the prestigious San Francisco Worlds Spirits Competition 2016.
- Single Malt Inchmoan 12 years old 46° 5 cl: it comes from the marriage of two malt whiskies: one from a still pot still swan, the other from a straight neck pot still. The combination of these two stills gives a particular character to the peat of this Inchmoan, which combines wonderfully smoke and spicy notes.
- Single Malt Inchmurrin 12 years 46° 5 cl: it pays homage to the unique character of the Scottish island of the same name. Aged in bourbon casks of first and second filling, this whisky is marked by fruity and gourmet notes.
Founded in 1965 in an old dyeing facility, Loch Lomond took over the name of its predecessor located on the other side of the Loch, in Arrochar, and which closed in 1817. As the Loch Lomond distillery closed in 1984, it could only reopen in 1985 as the Bulloch family bought it back to deal with shortages in their Glen Catrine company.
The distillery has the specificity, unique to Scotland, to produce malt whisky and grain whisky on the same site.
