Loch Lomond Cask 2008 Hogshead No11 70cl 57.4°
Loch Lomond Cask 2008 Hogshead N ° 11 is an exceptional whisky selected by our teams exclusively for Le Comptoir Irlandais. Only 254 bottles are available.
This Single Cask was distilled in 2008. It comes from an exceptional Hogshead drum that develops both floral and fruity notes with a slight smoke.
The bottling was carried out in 2019, cask strength and without cold filtered at 57.4 °.
We chose this barrel number 11 for the delicacy that whisky expresses in the palate and the explosion of fruit aromas.

Founded in 1965 in an old dyeing facility, Loch Lomond took over the name of its predecessor located on the other side of the Loch, in Arrochar, and which closed in 1817. As the Loch Lomond distillery closed in 1984, it could only reopen in 1985 as the Bulloch family bought it back to deal with shortages in their Glen Catrine company.
The distillery has the specificity, unique to Scotland, to produce malt whisky and grain whisky on the same site.
