American Oak Bache Gabrielsen 70cl 40°
The Cognac American Oak from Bache Gabrielsen is intended to be the first to come from aging in American oak barrels.
Resulting from a double maturation, this Cognac was first aged in French Limousin oak barrels then in new American Alba oak barrels for at least 6 months.
These American oak barrels are made in France according to criteria established by the Cellar Master, from wood imported from Tennessee by a local Cognac cooperage.
The combination of aging in oak barrels and the use of the Ugni Blanc grape make it a powerful, gourmet Cognac, with delicate notes of exotic fruits such as coconut and pineapple.

The Bache Gabrielsen Cognac house, with a hundred-year-old heritage, maintains the passion and traditions to produce cognacs that combine Norwegian origins and French know-how.
It was in 1903 that Thomas Bache-Grabrielsen, then a young Norwegian lieutenant, moved to Cognac in order to perfect his French as well as his knowledge of Cognac.
2 years later, he bought the Cognac house A. Edmond Dupuy and founded his own Bache-Grabrielsen house, which has seen 4 generations succeed at its head.
This heritage, transmitted from father to son for more than 100 years now, mixes Scandinavian roots and French know-how through products with strong values of innovation, tradition and above all, passion.
